During the Nintendo Treehouse livestream, we received a peek on the very fancy map that might be included in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master and Special editions.
The again of the map featured some Sheikah script that an industrious bunch of followers managed to translate into Japanese, after which into English to disclose particulars of the sport’s backstory and the occasions that befell 100 years previous to Link waking up firstly of the sport.
The textual content on the map reads:
“Hylians pass stories of a destined time long past where multiple races lived and worked together in harmony. The Sheikah Tribe’s blue aura breathed through the land and this mutual prosperity continued until a cataclysmic disaster stuck. The Hero and the Princess attempted to seal the terror which became known as the Calamity Ganon. Divine beasts awoke from four directions and deployed a mechanical army which made the King and his people fearful. They fractured Ganon’s power and sealed him but the Sheikah were banished from the land ever since”
YouTuber Zeltik labored with different neighborhood members on the interpretation and he goes into extra element in his video above.
The backstory sounds fairly attention-grabbing and goes some strategy to explaining the present state of the dominion.
