The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber ‘Stay’ Strong Atop Both Billboard Global Charts

The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber again boast the biggest song in the world, as “Stay” spends a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and a second week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. survey.

Plus, Farruko‘s “Pepas” ascends to the top 10 of both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts and Doja Cat‘s “Need to Know” reaches the top 10 of the latter list.

Billboard‘s two global charts (the latest of which are dated Aug. 28) began last September and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data. The Billboard Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the U.S.

Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.

‘Stay’ Scores Fourth Week Atop Global 200

“Stay” by The Kid LAROI, from Australia, and Justin Bieber, from Canada, logs a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. The song drew 123.7 million streams (up 14%) and sold 24,800 downloads (up 18%) worldwide in the Aug. 13-19 tracking week.
