Attention, stalkers.

We sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm and backing since the launch. It means a lot to us. Patch 1.0.1 is now available for both PC and Xbox, marking our initial bug-fix update that tackles over 650 distinct glitches and concerns. Below is a summary of the significant enhancements for the game.


AI Enhancements:
  • Resolved issues where groups of NPCs would get stuck and perish near the Shelter amid active Emission.
  • Corrected the glitch where the Burer could dislodge mission items from the player’s grip.
  • Integrated missing sound effects for Burer’s ‘Telekinesis’ prowess.
  • Fixed the malfunction causing NPCs to occasionally freeze and fail to reach mission destinations, potentially hampering interaction or progression to subsequent mission stages.
  • Addressed performance lag and potential memory crashes in hubs and NPC-dense areas during prolonged gameplay sessions.
  • Fixed instances where NPCs would shift to an A-pose or levitate postmortem.
  • Resolved issues preventing NPCs from assessing if a target was shielded from attacks, which led them to fire at cover.

Additionally, we attended to over 20 other AI-related problems.

Optimization Improvements:
  • Resolved occurrences of invisible NPCs or Mutants appearing in the player’s field of view when using a scope.
  • Fixed fire visual effects that failed to render from certain camera perspectives.

We’ve also rectified nearly 100 crashes, including potential memory leaks and EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION errors.

Audio and Sound Refinements:
  • Resolved the issue with combat music continuing after battles ended.

Plus 7 additional minor audio and sound glitches.

Balance Modifications:
  • Reduced costs for weapons and armor repairs.
  • Significantly raised artifact prices, enhancing revenue from sales.
  • Increased monetary rewards for most missions by 200-300%.
  • Buffed armor and weapons in Rookie difficulty.
  • Reduced mutant damage on Rookie difficulty for better health balance.
  • Decreased weapon damage by 23% on Rookie difficulty.
  • Enhanced armor durability by 12.5%.
  • Added a silencer attachment for the PTM in a specific Lesser Zone stash.
  • Adjusted Exoskeleton selling prices to reflect higher values.
  • Corrected selling prices of upgraded weapons.
  • Rebalanced Hercules consumable: removed player speed penalty and increased effect parameters for better weight capacity.

Additional minor bug fixes were also implemented.

Combat Adjustments:
  • Reduced the weight of certain mission items (including scanners)
  • Slightly recalibrated Bloodsucker’s damage output.
  • Lowered Bloodsucker’s strike protection rank for increased damage from firearms.
  • Decreased Bloodsucker’s HP regeneration outside of combat.
  • Moderate reduction in HP for Controllers, Burers, Boars, and Flesh.
  • Adjusted Boar headshot damage to 100% body damage.
  • Increased damage to Boar and Flesh limbs.
  • Significantly extended the range of weapon melee combat.
  • Slightly extended the knife melee range.
Gamepad Adjustments:
  • Expanded gamepad dead zones.
Character Updates:
  • Corrected NPC model eyes and teeth.
  • Minor adjustments to NPC models and animation.
Cinematic Enhancements:
  • Inserted missing footage to TV displays in the final cutscene.
  • Fixed issues with deer animation in the opening cutscene.

And addressed 20 additional cutscene bugs.

Game Settings and Menus:
  • Made bottom text on the Shader Compilation screen more legible.
  • Corrected an issue where ‘Nvidia Reflex Low Latency’ settings weren’t retained after restarting the game.

And 10 other smaller issues.

Interactable Elements:
  • Fixed physics glitches with destructible and mobile objects, including those suspended in midair.
  • Amended interaction prompts with glass doors in SIRCAA’s inner yard, alleviating a blocker for walkthroughs.
  • Repaired missing inner doors in the X-11 laboratory elevator.

Plus many more minor bugs.

Primary and Secondary Missions:

Numerous mission blockers and bugs specific to certain conditions have been resolved. Key solutions include:

  • Corrected interaction issues with dead Blind dogs in the Nightingale’s Hunt mission.
  • Solved uncompletable objectives in the Seek, and You Shall Find mission.
  • Addressed multiple issues in the There and Back Again mission, such as the missing artifact.
  • Resolved dialog loop with Zotov in the A Needle in a Haystack mission.
  • Fixed progression blockers in the Answers Come at a Price mission, including post-emission bandit issues and the missing Heavy Key item.
  • Corrected NPC location markers in Hot on the Trail mission.
  • Fixed door issues in the In Search of a Guide and The Side Hustle missions.
  • Addressed the cutscene initiation issue during Just Like the Good Old Days mission.
  • Resolved the absence of Lodochka in Quite’s Camp during Just Like the Good Old Days mission.
  • Fixed aggression anomalies with Lodochka post-Emitter acquisition in Just Like the Good Old Days mission.
  • Enabled electric shutdown in the inundated area in the To the Last Drop of Blood mission.
  • Tackled several issues in the On the Edge mission, such as inert NPCs, trapped doors, and Monolith assault progression.
  • Removed progression barriers in the A Minor Incident mission, including Bayun’s collar and obstructed doors.
  • Improved performance and clarity in objectives during the In Search of Past Glory mission.
  • Rectified difficulties in the Visions of Truth mission, such as immobilized NPCs and dialogue-related blockages.
  • Fixed stuck cutscenes and hindrances in progressing during Dangerous Visitors, Gray’s Last Hunt, and The Eternal Shining missions.
  • Amended spawn behaviors of NPCs and adversaries in The Boundary and Escape from the Cage missions.
  • Optimized mission progression for Down Below, Budmo!, and A Big Score to correct NPC immobilization, misplaced markers, and absent dialog options.

Along with approximately 120 other issues within main and side missions.

Open World Features:
  • Fixed distorted or absent limbs on humanoid corpses.
  • Restored missing fast travel routes, including access to the Concrete Plant for Toadstool.
  • Resolved various issues with loudspeakers, fast travel, and NPC interactions across locations like the Scientists’ Bunker and Chemical Plant.
  • Refined hostile NPC behavior during Arena missions, enhancing bandit tactics and increasing ammunition for the Tyrant battle.
  • Adjusted mission progress in the Black Sheep and The Key to Freedom missions.

Plus approximately 50 additional issues were addressed.

Player Guidance, Equipment, and Weapons:
  • Fixed a glitch allowing players to sell items to traders for more than their actual value.
  • Addressed input blocking issues with the PDA, inventory, and attachments when interacting with artifacts.
  • Corrected flashlight behavior post save/load.
  • Aligned grenade selection, compass marker overlap issues, and missing mission markers.
  • Rectified inconsistencies with weapon and armor upgrade effects, pricing, and reversals.
  • Enhanced HUD performance and extended the “Point of No Return” hints during the Down Below mission.
  • Fixed a bug allowing players to sell mission items with gamepad controls.

Along with about 50 smaller “anomalies.”

Voiceover and Facial Animation Improvements:
  • Restored missing facial animations for Sava in the Hot on the Trail mission and Mugwort in The Eternal Shining mission.
  • Resolved missing voice lines in the Let No One Leave Unsatisfied mission.
  • Adjusted radio call effects for accurate NPC voice distance simulation during communications.

And a few additional enhancements.

World Adjustments:
  • Fixed flickering textures in various locations, such as the Sphere, Military Base, and Chemical Plant.
  • Amended movement issues, preventing players from getting stuck in certain mission locations like Once More Unto the Breach and A Tough Awakening.
  • Corrected artifact spawn points in select regions.
  • Fixed NPC behavior during encounters.
  • Optimized voice volume during storms for improved audio harmony.

Along with approximately 50 more bugs.


Development on the game and future updates remains ongoing. We are actively working on resolving A-Life issues, which will be addressed in upcoming patches.
