The film has outpaced high-profile premieres such as Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘House of Dynamite’ and the documentary ‘Aileen: The Queen of Serial Killers.’ On the service’s global rankings, ‘The Ballad of a Small Player’ rose to third place, surpassing the hit ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters.’
