Singer-songwriter Crowder, aka David Crowder, achieves his third No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Christian Albums chart as Milk & Honey bounds in atop the June 26-dated list. In the tracking week ending June 17, it earned 13,000 equivalent album units, with 10,000 in album sales, according to MRC Data.
Crowder had a hand in writing all 13 tracks on the set, which is his fourth full-length studio album.
Crowder’s last LP, I Know a Ghost, debuted at its No. 2 peak on Top Christian Albums in November 2018. American Prodigal arrived at the pinnacle in October 2016 and Neon Steeple started atop the tally in June 2014.
Meanwhile, the new album’s launch single “Good God Almighty” dominates the airplay-, sales- and streaming-based Hot Christian Songs chart for a fourth week. Crowder’s first leader, among seven top 10s, surged by 19% to 2 million streams and sold 1,200 in the tracking week. On Christian Airplay, it holds at No. 3 with 9.1 million audience impressions, after it spent three weeks at No. 1, becoming his third leader.
‘GLORY’ DAYS Praise and worship artist, and former professional baseball player, Todd Dulaney rolls up his fourth top five entry on Top Gospel Albums as his new live set Anthems & Glory begins at No. 3 (2,000 units).
The set was recorded live at All Nations Worship Assembly in Chicago, Dulaney’s hometown. Among collaborating artists are gospel mainstays Tamela Mann, Smokie Norful and Kierra Sheard.
Dulaney has netted two No. 1s on Top Gospel Albums: A Worshipper’s Heart entered atop the chart in May 2016, followed by Your Great Name, which arrived at the apex in February in 2018. Plus, in March 2019, To Africa With Love opened at its No. 2 peak.
Dulaney previously manned second base and shortstop in the New York Mets organization. He was chosen in the 2002 MLB draft in the 32nd round, playing until 2005 when he left to take a swing at a music career in which he continues to add hits.
