Released a year ago on PS4, then 6 months later on PC and Nintendo Switch, Spirit of the North had no plans to release on Microsoft’s Xbox consoles. An error that has just been rectified since the developers of Merge Games have just announced that an improved version will arrive in 2021 on Xbox Series X | S. The exact date has not been communicated, but we do know that Enhanced Edition will benefit the same upgrades as those received on PS5, namely native 4K for the resolution, a stable framerate in 60fps, revised and corrected textures and other features compatible with the new machine. There will also be exclusive skins for the fox, to make his bucolic walks on the majestic lands of Iceland even more memorable.
We’re thrilled to confirm that #SpiritoftheNorth will be landing on #Xbox for the very first time! We’ll be welcoming our foxy friend to #SeriesX| S early 2021 and will be able to share the official release date with you all in the new year 🙂 @PlaySOTN pic.twitter.com/7kF72BooC7
