Soul Singer Ray Singleton Delivers Emotion-Packed Performance on ‘AGT’: Watch

When Ray Singleton sings, he does it from the heart.

The 31-year-old stepped onto the America’s Got Talent stage Tuesday night (July 13), and gave a performance that was loaded with emotion.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native performed Andy Grammar’s “I Am Yours,” a love song which he dedicated to his wife Roslyn, a U.S. Navy veteran and brain cancer survivor.

“Actually, the reason I’m here is because of my wife,” he explained.

Singleton used singing in his partner’s therapy. And it apparently helped. Today, she’s cancer free.

When Roslyn joined Singleton on stage after his solo rendition, the tears flowed (from everyone).

Grammar’s performance at the keys was both touching and powerful, and earned a “yes” from each of the four judges.

“Your voice is fantastic, the lyric was fantastic. It was just a beautiful moment,” Simon Cowell enthused.
