Sony reveals sales figures for Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War and Days Gone on PCAware that it is necessary to reach players from all walks of life, since 2019, Sony Interactive Entertainment has made a habit of releasing some of its productions on PC. It started with Quantic Dream (Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit: Becom Human), before moving on to Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone, or Death Stranding. Therefore, during the Business Segment Briefings 2022 from Sony Corporation which was held recently, the Japanese manufacturer wanted to take stock of the sales of Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War and Days Gone (figures stopped at March 2022).

Available since August 7, 2020, the PC version of Horizon: Zero Dawn has sold 2.39 million copies. This is Sony Interactive Entertainment’s best performance on the machine to date. As for God of War, it totals 971,000 copies sold, the game having only landed on January 14th. Finally, Days Gone – which was released on May 18, 2021 – is based on some 852,000 copies sold.

During its presentation, the firm pointed out – unsurprisingly – that the revenues generated on PC were growing increasingly large (35 million dollars in 2020-2021, 80 million dollars in 2021-2022), and that he therefore hoped to reach $300 million in revenue in 2022-2023. We recall thatUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection should be released soon on PC, and it is also rumored that Returnal could do the same.
