Silt, the hauntingly atmospheric puzzle-adventure frequently dubbed “underwater Limbo,” is set to make its mobile debut this January.
Developer Snapbreak Games has announced that the mobile port of the surreal puzzle title Silt will be released on iOS and Android on January 20, 2026.
Silt offers a deep-sea odyssey that blends survival horror with intricate environmental puzzles. Players step into the suit of a lone diver navigating a desolate, sunless abyss teeming with predatory life. The core gameplay revolves around a unique possession mechanic, allowing the protagonist to inhabit various sea creatures and harness their specialized abilities to bypass obstacles and solve the mysteries of the deep.
As players descend further into the darkness, they will encounter bizarre biological organisms, forgotten machinery, and crumbling ruins buried beneath the waves. The game’s striking, hand-drawn monochrome aesthetic was specifically designed to evoke a sense of isolation and dread throughout the journey.
The mobile version of Silt has been fully optimized for touch-screen interfaces. Upon release, players will be able to experience a free demo version, with the option to unlock the full game via a single one-time purchase.
Originally developed by Spiral Circus Games, Silt first launched on PC and consoles in the summer of 2022. The project quickly garnered attention for its visual parallels to iconic indie titles like Limbo and Inside. On Steam, the game currently maintains a 77% positive rating based on more than 600 user reviews.
