Feral Interactive Reveals Tomb Raider for Android and iOS — Fans Call the Studio the “Savior of Mobile Gaming”

The inaugural chapter of Crystal Dynamics’ Survival Trilogy is headed to smartphones, complete with exclusive new content.

Feral Interactive has officially announced the upcoming mobile launch of Tomb Raider (2013), the definitive reboot that launched the acclaimed Survival Trilogy, for iOS and Android devices. The title is scheduled to arrive on February 12, 2026.

This mobile adaptation will feature the complete original experience, including all 12 downloadable content packs. Beyond the base game, developers are integrating a variety of fresh elements not found in the original PC or console releases. These additions include expanded character skills, weapon upgrades, alternative outfits for Lara, and a bonus challenge tomb for players to explore.

The game will offer fully optimized touch-screen controls, as well as native support for gamepads, keyboards, and mice. Feral Interactive highlights that the port aims to maintain a high standard of visual fidelity and technical performance on mobile hardware.

The announcement was accompanied by a gameplay teaser that sparked significant enthusiasm within the gaming community. Commenters were quick to praise the studio for its dedication to high-quality mobile ports, with some fans even referring to Feral as the “savior of mobile gaming.”

The studio has built a solid reputation for successfully adapting major titles for mobile platforms. Over the years, they have released mobile versions of the Total War, Hitman, and Tomb Raider series, often enhancing them in the process. For instance, in their port of Total War: Empire, the developers expanded the number of playable factions from the original 11 to an impressive 55.

The arrival of Tomb Raider on mobile platforms is a continuation of this strategic focus. While the studio has not yet confirmed plans to port the remaining titles in the trilogy, the reception to the teaser suggests a massive demand for more classic franchises to make the leap to smartphones.
