And to everyone’s surprise, it is a character from another license who is making his debut in the series, namely Baiken from Guilty Gear. It is true that the association between the two fighting games is not obvious, but SNK has chosen a protagonist who befits the samurai spirit perfectly, with his traditional look, his sharp blade and his back story of revenge. Indeed, it is fashionable to remember that Baiken only lives for one thing, to find the murderer of his family, even if it means losing the second and only eye that remains to him.
