Rumors: Launch Game Lineup, Prices, and Release Date for Switch 2
Nintendo hasn’t shared any details during the console’s announcement, but various sources continue to provide information. According to a new leak, the prices, release dates, and launch game lineup have been revealed:
• Launch game lineup: Metroid Prime 4, BotW Remastered, Mario Kart 9, Tekken 8, Elden Ring
• Mario Odyssey and BotW will run on the console at 1080-60 in handheld mode and 2K-60 docked with AI upscaling
• The presentation on April 2 will clearly show the differences between various BotW versions
• Console pricing is not yet set, but is expected to be $399 or $449, with an increase in online subscription from $50 to $70
• Release date — June 20 or June 27, 2025.
Whether this is true or not will be revealed at the presentation on April 2.
