Rostam has shared a brand new single known as “In a River.” Check out its accompanying video (animated by Jon Race and directed by Rostam) beneath. “In a River” follows Rostam’s 2017 solo debut Half-Light.
In a press launch, Rostam defined how his stay performances of the monitor influenced its studio recording. “I often want the songs I produce to be meeting places for organic and electronic sounds— old traditions and new ones,” he stated. “‘In a River’ is new territory for me because although it’s a studio recording, it’s pulling from one of the oldest traditions in music, a live performance in front of an audience.”
