Australians will get to play Outlast 2 like all people else.

Outlast 2 might be launched in Australia in spite of everything

Outlast 2 has been efficiently labeled by the nation’s score board. The sport acquired a R18+ score, after it was refused classification for the same rating last week.

The sport now has its personal page on the rating board’s website, and might be launched April 26, someday after the North American launch date. Usually, when a sport receives a score after reevaluation, it could achieve this solely after edits had been made.

In the case of Outlast 2, developer Red Barrels didn’t say if modifications had been made. “There will be only one version of Outlast 2 available worldwide,” the studio stated in an announcement to Press Start.

Later, the Australian Classification Board instructed IGN that it’ll not present a report on its determination till March 25, on the request of the sport’s native distributor.

The board is “satisfied that the original version of the game that was refused classification has been modified to allow the game to be classified R18+.”

Outlast 2 is out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One starting March 25.
