Nintendo Switch Pro: exclusions planned for the console? An insider drops his info

Even if Nintendo swears on its head that it absolutely does not intend to offer a Pro version of its Switch, rumors continue to flow, the latest from the very serious Bloomberg. Indeed, our colleagues affirmed yesterday that the Japanese manufacturer was indeed setting up on a model capable, among other things, of displaying games in upscaled 4K, and this via an OLED screen (developed by Samsung) with dimensions larger than current ones – we would then go from 15, 7 cm to 18 cm.

Today, it is the turn of the insider NateDrake to go there with his little confidence on Reddit. Thus, the one who was one of the first to talk about the Super Mario 3D All-Stars compilation on Nintendo Switch understands that the Pro model will be entitled to some exclusives, especially from third-party publishers. According to him, it will be a limited number of titles; and to titillate the curiosity of the fans, he adds that he already knows at least one of these excluded.

It did not take more for it to start flowing in all directions. Some think that Red Dead Redemption 2, Final Fantasy VII Remake, GTA 5 or Cyberpunk 2077 could be among the chosen ones. Moreover, it is not impossible that Nintendo will take advantage of the launch of the machine – if the Nintendo Switch Pro were to be confirmed, of course – to slip a first party game. In short, the bets are off.
