The filming of the fantasy feature film “King and Jester: Forever” has begun
The action will unfold simultaneously in the real world and the fairy tale world from the songs of the band “King and Jester,” with the main antagonist being the hero from the song “The Necromancer.”
The project is being developed by the team behind the series “King and Jester,” which became the most popular on “KinoPoisk” in 2023. Konstantin Plotnikov (Pot), Vlad Konoplev (Prince), Daria Melnikova (Widow), Vera Volt (Princess), and Ilya Khvostikov (Kocheryzhka) will reprise their roles.
The first phase of filming is taking place on the Rybachy Peninsula. Overall, all the fantasy parts of the film will be shot in the Murmansk region, while the real-world scenes will be filmed in Saint Petersburg.
The premiere will be held in 2025, first in theaters and later on “KinoPoisk.” The exact date is yet to be determined.
