A dedicated gaming enthusiast has taken the concept of immersion to an entirely new level.
Recently, a modder known as @rapture1990 shared the results of a fascinating experiment. He managed to embed the standard version of Skyrim within the environment of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR, showcasing some truly meta gameplay.
As it turns out, the original Skyrim “runs flawlessly” while nested inside its virtual reality counterpart.
The experiment didn’t stop there. @rapture1990 also attempted to play DOOM and Arc Raiders within the VR space. While the proximity voice chat functioned correctly, communication proved difficult as the ambient sounds of the Skyrim world continued to play simultaneously.
