This follows the announcement from earlier this week that the game’s multiplayer beta has been cancelled. Instead, the studio is bringing a playable multiplayer construct to PAX.
The alternative of peer-to-peer shouldn’t be completely stunning. After all, Mass Effect three used this tech, and with the mode having extra emphasis on PvE, a great p2p resolution can work effectively.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is out March 21 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
