Mario + Rabbids 2 coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022

Nintendo and Ubisoft are teaming up again for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, a sequel to 2017’s Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, for Nintendo Switch. The strategy game that mashes up the Super Mario and Rabbids worlds is coming to Switch in 2022, according to a product listing on Nintendo’s website.

Rabbids fans will likely hear more about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, later today, during Ubisoft’s E3 2021 press event, Ubisoft Forward. That digital showcase kicks off at 11 a.m. PDT/2 p.m. EDT.

For now, here’s what we know, from the game’s official description:

Team up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, and their friends on a galactic journey to defeat a malevolent entity and save your Spark companions. Explore planets throughout the galaxy as you uncover mysterious secrets and compelling quests!

Build your dream team with three heroes from an eclectic roster of nine.
