Different styles of play
– Simple controls: A simple control configuration makes it easier to get started for new players and regulars alike. Just aim, and choose the power of the shot to hit the ball. It is also possible to use the motion detection controls by holding a Joy-Con controller like a golf club.
– Convenient Tools: Curved shots are an effective way to avoid obstacles and you can put spin on the ball to influence the way it rolls after it lands. Several features are available to help you dominate the course, including a power gauge that adapts to the angle of the slope and a scan that makes it easier to read the terrain.
Varied courses: between classic courses and courses with obstacles, each golf environment is different. You will have the choice between six fields full of surprises.
Various modes:
– Speed golf: in a new mode called Speed golf, players shoot and then have to race down the course to reach the ball and try to shoot again by getting as close to the hole as possible. During their race to reach the ball, it will be essential to collect objects to recover energy and to avoid the various obstacles. Players can also use their special sprint and special move to attempt for victory.
– Scrum Golf: In Scrum Golf – a more frenetic version of Speed golf – nine holes are in play at the same time. The first player to complete three holes wins! You will have to stay ahead if you don’t want to lose.
– Standard golf: in standard golf, each stroke is counted, you have to do the least to win!
– Golf Adventure: In Golf Adventure, solo players register their Mii character in a club to advance them from beginner to pro. They can interact with the characters of the Mushroom Kingdom to learn how to play and engage in many challenges. As they gain experience, they will develop their character, which can then be used in multiplayer modes.
