Yesterday, there were reports on the Web about the death (causes are unknown) of one of the most prominent representatives of reggae and the founder of the dub genre, Lee Perry, nicknamed Scratch.
The 85-year-old Jamaican devoted more than 60 years of his life to music, having recorded countless albums and songs, some of which (both solo and as part of The Upsetters) sound in GTA of different eras.
GTA: London 1969 (on radio station Bush Sounds):
GTA: San Andreas (on K-JAH West radio station):
GTA 5 (at the Blue Ark radio station, where Lee was also a DJ):
- Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry – I am a Madman
- Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry – Disco Devil
- The Upsetters – Grumblin ‘Dub
- Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry – Money Come and Money Go
- Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry – Roast Fish & Cornbread
Four of the eight tracks can be heard on our radio station, they are marked with a corresponding icon.
