Award-winning actor Kieran Culkin is set to headline the latest cinematic endeavor from celebrated filmmaker Nancy Meyers, the creative force behind “The Holiday” and “Something’s Gotta Give.”
Meyers personally confirmed the casting, noting that production is scheduled to commence in 2026. Breaking away from recent streaming trends, the feature is intended for a theatrical premiere. While Culkin’s specific role remains undisclosed, plot details are currently being kept under tight wraps.
The director was previously attached to the romantic comedy “Paris Paramount,” which was expected to feature a star-studded cast including Scarlett Johansson and Penélope Cruz. However, that project failed to move forward due to its extensive budgetary requirements.
In addition to this new project, Culkin is slated to appear in “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” next year.
