The Game Awards host and guy who just really likes video games Geoff Keighley brings back his Summer Game Fest for 2021, a slate of digital livestreams full of news, entertainment, and summertime fun. Summer Game Fest kicks off Thursday, June 10, with an appropriately named event: Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live! (Emphasis Geoff’s.)

Thursday’s stream starts at 2 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT. You can watch it live, right here, via YouTube, on Twitch, or Twitter.

Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live! promises new game reveals, including news on Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s next season, something new from Borderlands developer Gearbox, the next game from Escape from Tarkov studio Battlestate Games, and the latest on Among Us. Expect surprises, of course. The event is expected to run two hours and feature more than 30 games.

Kickoff Live! will also include a few musical performances, from artists like Weezer and Japanese Breakfast, as well as appearances from actors Jeff Goldblum and Giancarlo Esposito. The latter will almost assuredly talk about his role in Far Cry 6.

Immediately following Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live! will be Double Fine’s Day of the Devs stream, which will highlight a group of exciting and intriguing indie games. For a rundown of the extended Summer Game Fest schedule, check out the official website.
