Hitman 3: Io Interactive unboxing the deluxe edition, but without unboxing anything, a concept

The release of Hitman 3 is approaching at full speed, and we will not hide it from you, our test sessions are already well advanced. While waiting to deliver our final verdict on this eagerly awaited sequel, know that on the side of Io Interactive, we have decided to communicate around the deluxe edition which will go on sale on January 20. In order to give us more details on this deluxe version, the Danish studio offers us an unboxing video, but without unboxing it. The kind of unexpected concept, but which has indeed taken place, since Clemens Koch (who is Community Developer at Io Interactive) is just face-cam to detail the contents of the deluxe edition. No more no less. No box to show us, much less to unpack, everything is shown through illustrations, just like the bonuses. So why such a trick? Quite simply because these are in-game bonuses and unfortunately the soundtrack or the artbook have been digitized. So what’s the point of talking about unboxing? Clearly, this is a communication error, at least in wording.
