GTA:OG is a project reviving the old “Online”

Spring to the world showed an opportunity recreate GTA Online for PS3 and Xbox 360, and in the summer based on this enthusiasts showed what the multiplayer looked like before release. As it turned out, this was not the end of the matter, and fans went further, actually restoring the multiplayer game to its original form. And we managed to do it before 10th anniversary.

As part of the GTA:OG project, anyone can once again launch “Online” on their PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (firmware, of course). Or on PC through RPCS3, an emulator of the third “curling iron”, but there is one serious problem – you cannot go through cases together with other players. But Xenia, a box emulator, is not supported due to limitations of the platform itself. Yes, that’s right, you can play not alone, but with friends and random people. Progress saving is fully functional there, there are classic robberies, and the total number of players, according to website, reaches the thousand mark. GTA:OG has value not only as a game, but also as an example of the fact that GTA Online can live even after the developers officially close the servers. And in view of the exit GTA 6, which will take place sooner or later, the current “Online” will one day also cease to exist. And then there will be those who will preserve it too.
