GTA: Trilogy “The Definitive Edition” GTA: Trilogy – A Success for Netflix January 24 at 22:09
Netflix representatives reported to investors about record-breaking achievements for the company. In the last month, the number of game downloads available to subscribers has multiplied, approaching 30 million.
This surge is largely thanks to GTA: Trilogy — Definitive Edition. The release of its mobile version took place on December 14, not just as a regular app, but also as an addition to the popular movie and series streaming service. The total result of the “Trilogy” on this platform alone nearly six weeks later stands at 18,000,000 downloads:
- GTA: San Andreas — 11.6 million (just over 9 on iOS and a little over 2.5 on Android),
- GTA: Vice City — 4.1 million (just over 3 + about 900,000),
- GTA 3 — 2.4 million (1.7 + about 700,000).
It appears that the “Definitive Edition” has found its place. After criticism of the PC and console versions, it was eventually refined and improved, demonstrating that mobile devices are a suitable platform for such a project.
