And to conclude (at least for now) the topic on the source code of GTA 5, it’s also worth mentioning the features that were planned for GTA Online.

• Initially, it was intended for the character to not only take a shower and relax in the bath but also wash hands, cleanse face, brush teeth, apply makeup, change hairstyle, and use the toilet.
• Synchronized actions. These are the ones that begin after winning a case or can be initiated from the interaction menu but for two players in free-roam.
• A passive mode, applied to a specific player (now available in “Online”), was conceived much earlier.
• Changing mission markers.
• The free mode event “Infection”. A zombie invasion analog?
• More options for apartment improvements (meaning: renovation).
• Purchasing an aircraft carrier (similar to super yachts).
• DLC dedicated to Thanksgiving Day (referred in the code as mpthanks), could have been released in 2015.
• An addition marked as Sports, included the option to exercise at the gym: squats, push-ups, crunches, and other exercises. Also included face paints for Jock (drawn thick eyebrows like those of Jock, a former stuntman who later ran for governor and became an arena announcer), Los Santos Corkers, Los Santos Panic, Liberty City Swingers (all three are sports teams).
• The Army update could have contained face paints, which were eventually added with “The Cayo Perico Heist”.
• Names of 8 other updates planned at the beginning of GTA Online’s lifecycle: Fixes 1, Fixes 2, Heists 2, Intel and Surveillance, Jobs, Promoter, Relationships, St Patrick (St. Patrick’s Day). It’s possible that work for these projects in some way made it to release.
