Finish the summer in GTA Online with a bone-crushing mode called ‘Assault on ATT-16’. Essentially, it’s quite similar to ‘Assault on Cayo Perico’ with terminals and other attributes. But while the island scenario involves armed thugs and drug lords, here at the military base, full-scale combat takes place using aviation, soldiers, and even an orbital cannon! In the first stage, attackers must ensure a successful advance on Fort Zancudo, and in the second stage, on the USS Luxington. Defenders, on the other hand, need to withstand the onslaught. The excitement for players (from 8 to 30 individuals) is stoked by 4 new platinum awards, as well as doubled money and reputation points (2x GTA$ and RP) this week.
However, developers have also made a community-unpopular decision by temporarily removing nearly a dozen modes from the game (of course, not as extensive as three years ago, but nonetheless). For better matchmaking, they assure us, the following modes have been rotated out:
- ‘Assault on Cayo Perico’;
- Cayo Perico Series races;
- Diamond Adversary Series;
- Missile Base Series;
- Bunker Series;
- Racing series;
- ‘Known Unknowns & Unknown Unknowns’ races, which were just added in April;
- Issi Classic races;
- Overtime Rumble Adversary mode;
- 16 races.
