Not everyone knows that long before zombie survival, players already had the opportunity to visit Ludendorff. In the first month of GTA Online‘s existence, in October 2013, alongside rumors about the North Yankton DLC, players could explore a section of the game’s American Midwest equivalent thanks to loopholes.
A few days after the limited cemetery return to Ludendorff, Nuro_Citrix shared instructions on how to visit North Yankton not for zombie elimination but a full-fledged tour. To do this, players needed to mark the new survival and add it to a playlist along with another job (either their own or one created by Rockstar), preferably with no time limits and no bounds. Upon starting the playlist, they had to immediately off themselves to move to the next job, where the map of the northern state remained loaded. Although exploring was limited, the main attractions were accessible.
Less than two days later, on October 16th, changes were made, and visiting Ludendorff became impossible. The community was displeased, as the glitch caused no harm to the game’s economy, didn’t allow players to amass GTA dollars or level up quickly. The glitch would have in any case become unavailable after Halloween when the cemetery survival event ended. Developers simply removed a fun pastime.
However, something does remain. If the steps above are repeated now, the N mark (north) will appear at the southern point in the second job, and the Southern San Andreas map will disappear, replaced by the North Yankton map, even on the radar.
