Fortnite bugs “taking longer than expected to fix”, constructing bar reverts to older model

Epic Games has stated that bugs which can be plaguing the newest construct of standard battle royale sport Fortnite are taking for much longer than anticipated to repair.

Version 2.four.zero of Fortnite was resulting from be launched yesterday, however that has been delayed to deal with continued problems.

“We hear your concerns regarding bugs that you are experiencing since V.2.3.0, especially those regarding building,” stated Epic. “It’s taking us longer than expected to fix these issues and we’re working through some major ones. If we’re unable to fix them today the v2.4.0 release will be delayed. Once we have a better idea of when the patch will arrive we’ll update everyone.”

As a consequence, Epic goes to revert a few of its older constructing UI and techniques to hurry build up in sport when model 2.four.zero is finally launched. Players have been fighting a bug whereby a different object is built to the one selected, amongst different points.

“In order to help make building feel better we’ll be reverting to the building bar system that was present in V.2.2.0. We intend on finding a more permanent fix to make building and item selection feel more crisp in the future. We’ve also added some tools to help us better diagnose in-game issues when new bugs do arise.”

“Reverted building is planned to come with 2.4.0, and we’re working on a slightly longer-term improvement without some of the bugs we’ve seen people experiencing,” supplied Epic.

“We know it’s been frustrating for our players, but it’s a tough nut to crack and we need a bit more time than we want to make you wait for the other great fixes, features, and content we’ve got lined up. We figured the best thing we could do would be to restore it to the state it was in with 2.2.0, and take another shot at improving the feel and responsiveness of building in the near future.”

Earlier this week Fortnite offered compensation to gamers affected by the newest issues, which come after a major update to the map which added new locations and biomes.
