Josh Fauver, greatest referred to as Deerhunter’s longtime bassist, has died. The information was confirmed by Deerhunter’s consultant. “Very difficult times now,” they wrote within the caption of the under Instagram picture of Fauver with the band. Fauver joined Deerhunter in 2004 after the band’s authentic bassist Justin Bosworth died following a skateboarding accident. Fauver performed on their debut self-titled album (2004), Cryptograms (2007), the Fluorescent Grey EP (2007), Weird Era and Microcastle (2008), Rainwater Cassette Exchange EP (2009), and Halcyon Digest (2010).
