Second Dinner, the studio just lately based by former Hearthstone leads, has revealed its first mission.
Second Dinner is headed up by Ben Brode, and Hamilton Chu, former Hearthstone game director, and govt producer, respectively. The studio, which was established in Brode’s storage to begin, has now made its first deal.
Second Dinner is engaged on a brand new game within the Marvel universe, after elevating a $30 million from a minority funding by Chinese mega-company Netease. Though the press launch doesn’t point out what sort of game we will count on, the group could be very captivated with their time play testing and the suggestions they’ve been receiving.
It’s value noting that Brode and plenty of at Second Dinner had been members of Blizzard’s Team 5, the unique creators of Hearthstone, those that weren’t would later be part of the game’s core group.
The new mission is predicated on Unity, and Second Dinner is at the moment hiring for two key roles.
