Initially, crossplay won’t be available, but we’re making efforts to implement it as soon as possible.
Currently, there are no plans for a PS5 version; however, we might explore the possibility during the game’s development.
Additional language support is not planned for the initial release, but expanding language options is a goal we’re aiming for as development progresses.
Yes, controllers are supported on PC for Palworld.
Palworld can be enjoyed solo in offline mode or with friends online.
Up to four players can engage in cooperative play in Palworld by starting a multiplayer game and sending invites. For larger communities, create a dedicated server for up to 32 players. We will provide server creation tools at launch.
Currently, your character is tied to your specific world. If you host a cooperative game, you can move between single and multiplayer modes. Guests however cannot switch. A server/save transfer feature is planned for later development stages.
Initially, Steam Workshop won’t be available, but it’s on the roadmap for post-launch. Palworld is built on Unreal Engine 5 and we’re excited to see the mods the community will create!
Palworld is a legitimate project set to release on January 19th. It’s a standard Steam game; you buy it once, you own it forever. We could consider future expansions and that would be discussed with the community when it’s applicable!
