South Park Fans, Bad News for You

Trey Parker and Matt Stone have announced that new episodes of the show won’t be released until 2025 at the earliest. This delay is due to two main factors:

• The merger of Paramount with Skydance;

• Waiting for the conclusion of the US elections (to avoid repeating the situation with the “Oh, Jeez!” episode);

Parker and Stone noted that they have grown tired of the election theme and Trump parodies—thus, the latest episodes are about other events, making the work more enjoyable for the entire team.
