PokeLens is a fan-made Pokemon battler for HoloLens, which brings your real-world Pokemon looking and battling goals to life in a method Pokemon Go can’t actually rival.
Since the video above was launched in early November, PokeLens has been up to date with voice commands, making it even cooler.
Created by developer Kenny W utilizing animations from 3D artist Beastcramps, it’s freely out there on Github so that you can strive for your self, for those who occur to have a HoloLens dev equipment. (If you want some assist getting it working, this video has some ideas.)
It’ll most likely be a very long time earlier than we see an official Pokemon AR or VR recreation like this, sadly. Just yet one more motivation for hoping the know-how goes mainstream.
