How does it feel?
It’s been nearly 56 years since Bob Dylan went electric for the Newport Folk Festival, debuting his rock sound while performing “Like A Rolling Stone” at the Newport Folk Festival.
On July 18, Dylan will reach a new milestone in his incredible career, performing an exclusive livestream concert on the Veeps platform. The event, named Shadow Kingdom, will showcase Dylan in an intimate setting as he presents songs from his extensive body of original works, created especially for this event.
Tickets are $25 and access to this concert footage will remain viewable to ticket buyers for 48 hours after the initial airing.
Shadow Kingdom will mark the artist’s first concert performance since December 2019. Dylan’s planned tours in 2020 were canceled due to the shutdown of global touring that followed the COVID-19 pandemic.
His July performance will be his first since the release of his acclaimed album, Rough And Rowdy Ways, which landed Dylan the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart for its 2020 debut and hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart that same week. The set earned Dylan his 23rd career top 10 release, making him the the first act to have achieved at least one new top 40-charting album in every decade from the 1960s through the 2020s.
“It’s an incredible honor and a high point for us all at Veeps to have the opportunity to be working with Bob Dylan, and to be a part of what is sure to be a truly special and historic performance, not only as professionals, but as music fans too,” said Joel Madden, co-founder of Veeps.
