The player will have to play as Aiden Caldwell, an infected survivor with abilities defying the laws of physics. Determined to unravel a mystery of his past, he goes to La Ville, a place considered to be the last baston of Humanity. There, he will meet Nightrunners who have learned to survive in this world where food is scarce. In fact, three factions are fighting over The Town: the Survivors, the Peacekeepers, and the Defiants. It will be up to Aiden to serve everyone’s interests to achieve his ends. If some will refuse to ally themselves with the character, others on the other hand will make it possible to forge links and to be confronted with dilemmas.
As in the first Dying Light, the monsters will come out at night, forcing Aiden to use his skills as a freerunner and fighter. A cocktail that had worked perfectly in the first opus, and that we will therefore find here. According to what we are told, dusk will be an opportunity to explore the nests which, during the day, swarm with infected. However, exploring them during their absence will not be without danger.
Note that Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be entitled to a large collector’s edition which, for the record, had already leaked a few months ago. As expected, it will include:
- The game
- UV flashlight
- An Artbook in paper version
- A thank you letter from the creators
- UV stickers
- A map of The City
- Steelbook
- The collector’s edition box
- A “Defender of the City” statuette of more than 10 ″ with a stylized UV lamp
A digital edition is also planned:
- Legendary pack including outfit, weapon skin and paraglider
- A Reload pack including an outfit, weapon skin and paraglider
- 2H nightly XP boost
- 2x Story DLC (available in the months following release)
- Soundtrack and artbook
- Digital wallpapers and comics

Finally, let’s not forget the most important: Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be released on December 7 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
