Early reviews highlight the stunning visual craftsmanship, the sharp wit, and a refreshing lack of the heavy-handed solemnity often found in the genre (drawing comparisons to films like Interstellar). Adapted from the celebrated novel by Andy Weir (author of The Martian), the story follows a school teacher tasked with the monumental challenge of averting a global apocalypse.
