Coming Soon to GTA Online: Halloween 2024

Starting this Thursday, the first phase will begin, featuring a new type of survival mode. Ludendorff Cemetery Survival will allow players to revisit the cemetery in Ludendorff, North Yankton (previously explored during the story mode of GTA 5), and battle zombies! The undead will come in at least three varieties: regular, sprinters, and juggernauts. There might be 15 waves instead of the standard 10 in survival modes.

This year, ghost photo hunting returns, although it is unknown if last year’s ghosts will reappear. It is confirmed that 10 new ghosts have been added to “Online”—now in Los Santos (white dots 11-20 on our map). Among them might be a North Yankton police officer (or is it for a previous event?), and the final one—Dom, who gave extreme missions in the story mode. The reward for photographing all ten will be a ghostbuster jumpsuit.

Additionally, the mysterious object with box-filled rooms, which was added to the game last year, will now be utilized. In 50% of UFO abductions, we can not only examine the operating room but also explore the bunker, solve a small puzzle, and even find new weaponry!

Moreover, new weather conditions are being introduced. Two new options will be added: Halloween snow and Halloween rain. The latter might become the default for the next month.
