It is Monday and like every beginning of the week, SELL and Gfk do not fail to update the ranking of video game sales in France. If the real figures remain the preserve of paying partners, we can at least revel in this Top 5 which provides an overview of trends among consumers in France for week 42, that going from October 18 to 25, 2021. While last week, we saw the entry into the running of Far Cry 6 and Metroid Dread, the two games have disappeared from the table to make way for two old titles from the Switch catalog, namely Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which will undoubtedly be sure values to put under the tree. FIFA 22 meanwhile continues to impose its supremacy by positioning itself in first, second and fourth place in its versions PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, the Xbox is still shunned in France.
For the PC market, FIFA 22 also takes the lead, as in previous weeks, ahead of Microsoft Flight Simulator which is back in the Top 5, just like The Sims 4 which was overtaken by its extension last week. In short, another week not very original and which leaves little room for new things.
