“Capcom has been targeted on growing the effectivity and progress of its game improvement operations. To help this goal, new R&D services and annual hiring have been underway on the Osaka headquarters.
“In consideration of this course of, because of reviewing titles in improvement at Capcom Vancouver, Capcom has determined to cancel the event initiatives at this studio and can focus improvement of main titles in Japan.
“As a part of this total course, the studio will droop operations, efficient at this time, so the present employees might be laid off and the workplace might be closed. We respect the laborious work and contributions of all of the studio staff members in creating unforgettable gameplay experiences for the Dead Rising sequence and Puzzle Fighter,” the consultant mentioned.

In February Capcom introduced it had canceled at the least two initiatives on the studios: an unannounced action-adventure title, and the subsequent Dead Rising title.
At the time of the announcement, 50 builders on the Vancouver studio had been let go. Today’s closure has affected 158 staff, and a small variety of employees will stay on-board till January to finalize issues.
