Call of Duty Vanguard: presentation of Arthur, Polina and Padmavati, 3 operators in video

The release for Call of Duty Vanguard is approaching quickly, and Activision is increasing the number of voices around the game. Today, we are entitled to the video presentation of three operators that we will be able to embody in the game, as well in the single player campaign only in multiplayer mode. Each of these elite soldiers benefit from a cinematic trailer dedicated to them, just to highlight their ability to fight on the battlefield. There is Arthur Kingsley to begin with, who is none other than the leader of the special forces sent to Germany to lift the veil on Projekt Phoenix. Kingsley’s strength lies in his total dedication to his mission, even if it means losing his life there. His primary objective is indeed to bring each of his men back to the fold alive and he will give himself the means to do so. This is the reason why he was chosen to play the main character of the game and it is through his eyes that we will discover the single player campaign. Sledgehammer Games specifies having collaborated with several cultural and historical consultants to give Arthur a special flavor. We learn, for example, that he was born in Cameroon, trained in England and a British paratrooper during much of the war.

Next is Polina Petrova, who is also part of the Special Forces but who was sent to Germany, knowing that she is a skilled sniper. In the script, Polina was feared by the Nazis and idolized by Russian soldiers, and her story is based on the murder of her family. It is therefore marked by loss, uprooting, mourning, but also prejudices. Throughout her story, we learn that Polina was originally a nurse who wanted to take up arms, and that the war will literally transform. The developers explain that during their research for pre-production, they discovered that women were fighting on the Eastern Front, including incredible snipers who gave the Nazis a hard time as they tried to gain traction in Russia. This is how Polina was born. Padmavati is the third and final character of this video that we have compiled with three sequences and we discover a woman expert in combat in the jungle, who was also a nurse by profession before becoming militarized.

The release of Call of Duty Vanguard is expected on November 5 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
