Billie Eilish spends a 12th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Aug. 21), holding atop the tally thanks to the second-week success of her new LP Happier Than Ever.
The set logs a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 85,000 equivalent album units earned, according to MRC Data. A week earlier, it debuted with 238,000 units, the fifth-largest week of 2021.
Eilish also places a pair of songs from the album on the Billboard Hot 100: “Happier Than Ever,” at No. 13 (after debuting at No. 11 a week ago), and “NDA,” at No. 77 (after debuting at its No. 39 high in July).
With her 12th week at No. 1 on the Artist 100, Eilish ties Ed Sheeran for the eighth-most frames in charge, dating to the chart’s 2014 inception, after Taylor Swift (48), Drake (32), The Weeknd (22), BTS (19), Ariana Grande (15), Post Malone and Justin Bieber (14 each).
Elsewhere on the Artist 100, George Harrison debuts at No. 10 as his former Billboard 200 No. 1 All Things Must Pass re-enters at No. 7 following its 50th anniversary reissue Aug. 6. The album was newly mixed and rereleased in a variety of formats.
The late legend joins his three fellow Beatles in having charted on the Artist 100. Paul McCartney spent a week at No. 1 in September 2018; Ringo Starr hit No. 86 in November 2019; and the late John Lennon reached No. 41 in October 2020. The Beatles themselves have reached a No. 3 best, in October 2019.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
