A documentary about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game sequence premieres subsequent week

“Pretending I’m a Superman,” a documentary about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game sequence, will premiere on the Mammoth Film Festival in California subsequent week.

As reported by Mic, Pretending I’m a Superman follows the broader skateboarding business and the perilous place it was in throughout the early 1990s. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games in the end performed a big function in introducing skate boarding to the mainstream as each a sport and life-style.

Developed by former Pro Skater franchise producer Ralph D’Amato and Swedish filmmaker Ludvig Gur, the documentary was first introduced in August following an unsuccessful Indigogo marketing campaign years earlier in 2017. Pretending I’m a Superman has since gained unbiased backing.

The movie options intensive interviews with Hawk and different skateboarding pioneers, together with the likes of Rodney Mullen, Steve Caballero, and Chad Muska. Both Hawk and Mullen will likely be becoming a member of the filmmakers in a panel dialogue following the screening of the doc.

Pretending I’m a Superman will premiere on February 29.
