🎭 It’s April Fools’ Day! (Mini-Update!)

🥳 April Fools’ Surprise!

Hello, Flippers!

Today, we’re bringing a little something to add a sprinkle of joy to your April Fools’ festivities! Introducing our inaugural “Mini-Update” – a fresh term we’ve coined for some modest content enhancements in House Flipper 2.

📋 Here’s a brief rundown of the changelog:

New Additions:
• Six April Fools-themed items for playful pranks!
• A novel mug featuring customizable image functionality!

Updates:
• We misplaced some of our audio files, but we’ve improvised a quick fix and are devising a more permanent solution. Patience is appreciated. (Enjoy 47 new sound effects, with the option to revert to the originals via the main menu, exclusively available on April 1st)

Corrections:
• The Pinnacove Suburbs achievement is now duly recognized.
• Resolved issue of unremovable sills in the newly added house, “The Alligator Bar” in Old Pinnacove. This fix is applicable only to newly purchased houses.

Co-op Enhancements:
• You can now detach from a co-op game during loading by pressing the Back button (confirmation required). Yes, this is now intentional, not a glitch!
• Synchronization improvements include wall finish materials in hand, as well as paint roller mode and color.
• Third-person animations have been implemented for tool switching and spray use.
• Additional alerts for “Lobby Full” and “Local Connection Not Possible” have been added.
• Crossplay status is toggleable from the client join interface.

Co-op Resolutions:
• Corrected timeofday synchronization issues.
• If the host is in the main menu, clients will also find themselves in the main menu upon joining.
• Players joining while others are connecting or cleaning windows will no longer encounter awkward positions or animations.
• Collaborative cleaning is now efficient, as cleaning the same stain isn’t slowed down when multiple players are involved. Teamwork fuels success!

❗ Moreover, we safeguarded you from potential troublesome features:
• Removed the beloved “before and after” gallery due to disapproval from at least three players.
• Eliminated the co-op mode so you can savor solo play in tranquility.
• All mod.io houses have been deleted due to a missed payment of our mod.io premium subscription… a splendid opportunity for new player creations to emerge!
• All textures are now uniformly gray to enhance performance.
• Paint roller has been removed – now apply paint by hand to the walls!
• Resolved a bug where only cold water flowed from the taps.
• Removed all houses larger than 25m² or with more than 20 items or 5 light sources to prevent uncontrollable crashes.
• Introduced the “ive-got-a-crash-on-you” command to allow you to intentionally crash your game at will! (Proceed with caution)

This signals the second phase of the Q1 / Q2 2025 House Flipper 2 Roadmap.
The following chapter promises to be one of the annual highlights for the House Flipper franchise, so stay tuned!

Additionally, remember that you still have approximately two weeks to participate in our latest Community Contest, revolving around some wacky April Fools’ concepts!
