John Legend recently commemorated his 47th birthday with a whimsical family excursion in New York City. On Sunday, December 28, the acclaimed musician, alongside his wife Chrissy Teigen and their four children, fully embraced the spirit of play by getting “slimed” at the Sloomoo Institute.

Just weeks prior, Legend and Teigen took their children—Luna Simone (9), Miles Theodore (7), and toddlers Esti Maxine and Wren Alexander (both 2)—to witness Disney on Ice at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where they enjoyed a private meet-and-greet with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

His collaboration with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, titled “Church,” recently ascended to the summit of the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart. This achievement marks Legend’s debut at No. 1 on this specific ranking, while simultaneously extending Cobbs Leonard’s record with her 10th chart-topping single.
