Xbox 360 digital store to close next year

At Microsoft announcedthat from July 29, 2024, Xbox 360 owners will no longer be able to buy games, add-ons, avatars and other content. The app for watching TV and movies will also be removed. Otherwise, nothing will change. For example, players will be able to continue playing purchased games and have fun in multiplayer.

Xbox 360 video games available on more recent consoles through backwards compatibility will continue to be available for purchase through Xbox One and Series X/S or other means. There are no Rockstar Games titles among them (there are almost 15 of them on the old “box”), but there are several large and famous projects.
