Spotlight on Recent Maps

As we maintain the newsletter’s tone, here is a showcase of recent maps crafted by some of the most skilled mappers our community has to offer. The following maps, crafted by mappers with a rich history as RoN Modders, deserve recognition:

These mods aren’t listed in a specific order; they’re simply numbered to facilitate organization and discussion.

1. Office Offensive by DecoyMoth

DecoyMoth has once again demonstrated their prowess by designing a stunning map that challenges players with extremely confined spaces, testing the communication skills of even the most seasoned teams and solo operatives. It’s a standout example of a straightforward concept executed with exceptional skill, distinguishing itself from more intricate layouts and projects.

2. Hell Comes to the Hills by Delta

Delta, a modder renowned for aiding aspiring and experienced mappers, offers a map creation journey documented on their YouTube channel. This resource can be a valuable learning tool or inspiration for your own mapping endeavors!

The map itself boasts an excellent atmosphere and a flawless presentation, featuring an open layout typical of a luxurious residence. However, it poses a threat to teams that linger too long in one spot.

3. A Florida Man – A Trailer In Darkness by StentheAwesome

StentheAwesome elevates the infamous enigma of ‘Florida Man’ by showcasing their technical prowess with impressive features not commonly found in modded maps. These include moving teammates to opposite sides of the map for dual entry, entering through windows, utilizing the game’s sound system effectively, and much more.

The map layout itself is equally formidable, presenting an open approach with cramped, cluttered spaces and a perilously cluttered backyard if any suspects escape.
