Anatoly Lobotsky, a distinguished People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, has passed away at the age of 66, according to official media reports.
The news of his death was shared on December 20. Born in Tambov in 1959, Lobotsky was a graduate of the prestigious GITIS and had been a prominent member of the Moscow Mayakovsky Theatre troupe since 1985.
Throughout his illustrious career, Lobotsky portrayed over 100 characters across film and television. He earned widespread recognition for his performances in acclaimed projects such as “The Envy of Gods,” “The Junior League” (Molodezhka), “The Priest,” and “Truckers.”
