New PvE Map — Reclamation
- Operation Reclamation unfolds in orbit above the planet Avarax.
- A squad of Space Marines is dispatched to a critically damaged Imperial cruiser to eradicate a Tyranid infestation — but mission objectives evolve as events unfold.
New PvE Equipment — Sanctified Wrath
Sanctified Wrath temporarily boosts melee damage by 25% for 15 seconds and grants immunity to knockbacks. Activating it also knocks nearby enemies back within a short radius.
🟡 Change from PTS: Number of charges increased from 1 to 2.

Battlefield Conditions — Additions
Over 40 new Battlefield Conditions have been introduced, expanding mission variability and tactical variety.

Chaos Customisation (PvP)
Chaos classes can now be customised using armour parts drawn from sets.

Assault — New Mobility Feature
A new series of Jump Pack Dash attacks has been added for Assault. These dashes are faster and more responsive than standard sprint attacks, and they interact with perks that modify Sprint attacks.
🟡 Change from PTS: Jump Dash attacks now deal 50% more damage.
Dev note: We’ll continue tuning sandbox gameplay for all classes. After Assault, Tactical and Vanguard will be next — but those updates aren’t scheduled for Patch 12 as focus shifts to the Tech Marine.
Melee Changes
Power Axe
- Chained Whirl Slash can now be executed following an Overhead Strike.
- Overhead Strike damage increased by 50%.
- The “Riposte” behaviour is now default: after a Power Backstep, holding attack performs an Overhead Strike.
- “Riposte” adjusted — Overhead Strike damage following a Backstep is now doubled.
- Blocking variants can transition into Power Stance.
Heroic Double Edge Relic (Chainsword)
- “Trampling Stride” perk now functions with Heroic Perk Combos.
- Double Heavy Combo can be chained after a Whirl Slash sprint attack.
Heroic Power Gladius (Power Knife)
- Damage buff persists for 1 second after the first hit to prevent waste on a single enemy.
- 🟡 Change from PTS: Fixed an issue where the damage buff could last indefinitely.
Firearms
- Heavy Bolt Rifle: Base damage increased by 13%.
- Heroic Combi-Melta (Bolt Rifle): Damage increased by 15% for both Bolter and Melta modes.
- Multi-Melta: The prior change allowing instant transition to standing fire after blind firing has been reverted; enforced shot interval remains when returning to standing.
- 🟡 Bolt Pistol: Base damage increased by 13.5%.
- 🟡 Volkite Pistol: Base damage and Volkite explosion damage increased by 10%.
🟡 Patch 11 — Heroic Weapon Adjustments (Post-PTS)
Heroic Heavy Bolt Pistol
- Gun Strike damage increased by 20%.
- Max ammo capacity increased by 6 rounds.
- Heroic perk now instantly executes enemies that are in the process of calling reinforcements.
Heroic Sniper Bolt Rifle
Ammo-restore perks no longer trigger when using this weapon.
Goal: Preserve the weapon’s strength while increasing its skill ceiling.
Heroic Thunder Hammer
Assault’s Ground Pound now spawns a shock zone on impact.
Heroic Power Fist
- Light attack damage bonus increased to 200%.
- Heroic perk activation radius increased to 15 meters.
- Fixed an issue where the perk sometimes failed to trigger.
Heroic Heavy Bolter
- Restored intended fencing-style behaviour.
- UI now correctly displays the weapon’s accuracy value.
Class Changes
Tactical
Signal Jammer: Reworked.
Old: “Enemies marked by Auspex Scan cannot call for reinforcements and automatically explode upon attempting to do so.”
New: “After marking an enemy with Auspex Scan, other enemies cannot call for reinforcement and will automatically explode if they attempt to do so for 90 seconds.”
Sniper
- Precision Targeting: Now affects Extremis- and Terminus-level enemies.
- Guardian Protocol: Cooldown removed.
- Ambush: Now also slows nearby enemies for 10 seconds.
Bulwark
- Emergency Countermeasure: Cooldown reduced from 90 to 45 seconds.
Vanguard
We’re shifting Vanguard away from being primarily a conduit for squad healing, nudging him toward a balanced ranged/melee hybrid. More iteration will follow.
- Grapnel Launcher: Damage now scales with difficulty.
- 🟡 Retribution: Reworked.
Old: “After you are grabbed or knocked back, you deal 30% more Melee Damage for 20 seconds.”
New: “When your ranged weapon’s magazine is empty, melee damage increases by 25%.” 🟡 Change from PTS: buff increased from 20% to 25%.
- Moving Target: Reworked. Old: Each melee hit reduced ranged damage taken by 5% (up to 30%) and expired after 5s of no melee. New: Killing an enemy at 30m+ restores 5% Ability Charge.
- 🟡 Tenacity: Reworked. Old: After killing 10 enemies within 5s, Diving Kick damage increased by 40% for 15s. New: After a ranged kill of a Majoris-level or higher enemy, Diving Kick damage increases by 130% (cooldown 15s). 🟡 Change from PTS: fixed an interaction with Shock Wave to prevent double-scaling.
- Collateral Damage: Diving Kick damage increased by 50%.
- 🟡 Inner Fire: Now behaves according to its description.
Assault
- Act of Attrition: Reworked. Old: “Enemies hit by melee attacks take 15% more damage for 3 seconds.” New: “Enemies hit by melee damage from sprinting or dashing melee attacks take 25% more damage for 5 seconds.”
Battlefield Condition Adjustments
- Great Responsibility: HP bonus increased from 100% to 150%.
- Retirement Barge: HP debuff reduced from 66% to 50%.
- Poorly Fit Suit: Damage reduced by 33%.
- Equipment Malfunction: Will no longer appear on Exfiltration missions.
- Surgical Strike: Damage increased by 15%.
- Extreme Challenge: Spawn cooldown for Extremis enemies increased.
Gameplay — Quality of Life
- Netcode damage cap increased to allow game damage values to be reported accurately.
- Sniper damage buff from Cloak lasts slightly longer to fully affect burst and full-auto weapons.
- Improved audio cues for unparriable attacks.
- Pyrecannon Heavy Stance sprint behavior now matches other heavy weapons.
Dev note: Increasing the netcode damage cap will affect balance and may reveal overpowered perk/build combinations. We’ll monitor and iterate accordingly.

AI
- Chaos Spawn: Fixed an issue with headshots not registering for client-side hit detection weapons.
- Vortex Beast: Headshot hit area added.
- Numerous small animation fixes.
Customisation
- Bots now use player class customisation.
- Armour parts can be sorted by rarity.
- Fixed: Black Templar Champion now chains his Power Sword correctly.
- Multiple minor customisation fixes.
Levels
- Various minor geometry fixes across levels.

General Fixes
- Fixed: Vanguard — ‘Restless Fortitude’ perk now activates properly when finishing an enemy with the Grapnel Launcher.
- Fixed: Sniper ability could stop recharging after being hit during activation in rare cases.
- Fixed: Players occasionally unable to perform gun strike on Lictor after a perfect dodge.
- Fixed: Assault’s “Overcharge” perk not increasing charged attack damage for weapons other than Thunder Hammer.
- Fixed: Combat Knife — “Combined Onslaught” and “Heavy Onslaught” perks now apply to dash attacks correctly.
- Fixed: Combat Knife — “Shadow Stab” now interacts with the correct perk (Heavy Onslaught) for heavy attacks.
- Fixed: Power Sword — contested restoration values between power and speed modes were swapped when Speed Restoration perk was equipped.
- Fixed: Power Sword — power restoration now correctly applies to the 4th attack from Slashing Blade perk.
- Fixed: Power Sword — the 3rd attack in the light combo no longer misses in some cases.
- Fixed: Thunder Hammer — Overcharge interactions with Seismic Chain and Aftershock Improved perks corrected.
- Many other minor bug, localisation, UI, and sound fixes.
